Adaptec's Ultra160 SCSI products enables up to 12 meter cable-lengths for maximum configuration flexibility, unlike UDMA, which limits cable lengths to 18 inches.
Adaptec's exclusive SpeedFlex technology ensures that all devices connected to an Ultra160 SCSI card will deliver top performance regardless of SCSI generation.

- The PowerDomain 29160N accelerator utilizes the latest generation of SCSI technology – Ultra160 – delivering data throughput at blistering speeds of up to 160 MB/sec. Advanced features free the CPU for other tasks, cutting response times and boosting productivity.
- Utilizes Adaptec's SpeedFlex Technology to give you maximum compat- ibility and Ultra160 performance. SpeedFlex separates slower peripherals from the faster Ultra160 devices to ensure the best possible performance from all connected SCSI devices. The 29160N supports both old SCSI Manager and SCSI Manager 4.3, delivering the best combination of flexibility and compatibility found in one card.
- The PowerDomain 29160N accelerator lets you connect up to 15 peripherals to your Mac and it extends your cabling length up to 12 meters. It features three different connectors to simultaneously support legacy and Ultra160 SCSI devices.
- No jumpers or switches to set, no drivers to install. Just plug the PowerDomain 29160N card into an available PCI slot and power up. The included PowerDomain Control utility enables you to further customize your SCSI settings for maximum system performance.
