Description

AIRHEAD’s Spectra Thermal wakeboard rope provides zero stretch for the crisp instantaneous response that expert wakeboard riders demand. The Thermal-coated Spectra line is stiff and rigid, resists kinking and twisting and boasts a 2, 000 lb. break strength. The 4 section mainline is 70 feet with three 5 foot takeoffs (5, 50, 5, 5, 5) . The 15 inch wide EVA grip is attached to a 5 ft. bridle, equipped with 2 foam floats and full length PVC tubing for added durability.

Author: Russell H (07/01/2008) The line is nice, the plastic coating does help avoid tangles. I think the coating will eventually wear out of course and then it will be much like other lines. The handle is a little rough but what does one expect for a good price. -Russ

Author: Jason S (08/05/2008) This is a terrific line for the money. There's no discernable flex in it, so cutting in is a lot crisper and less fatiguing. Also the neon green sheeth makes it very visible in the water, despite it's small diameter.

No stretch, great response, and its very visible in the water with the bright green color, also the 3 takeoffs allow for tuning to the perfect length for you. The handle floats well, its not the softest grip Ive ever felt but is comprable to most ropes, and the pattern gives a very good grip that does not come loose in your hand. If your looking for a great wakeboard rope...stop looking....this is it, and its at a great price so go ahead and buy it, you wont regret it. -Paul
