Description
In the Grand Duchy of High Lagaard, it is said that the Duke is descended from inhabitants of a castle in the sky. When an unforeseen crisis befalls the nation, it is decreed that the first explorer to retrieve the Grail of Kings from that mythical floating palace will be rewarded with wealth and fame beyond imagining. Enter the central city of Lagaard and begin your journey to the clouds.
Monsters of the First Stratum:
- A small, forest-dwelling rodent. Its body is covered in needless used to pierce anyone who lets their guard down.
- This cactus has evolved into a monster over its abnormally long life. It can attack from afar with its sharp needless.
- This mutant strain of ladybug is much larger than those found outside Yggdrasil. It has very keen senses for its size.
- A giant pillbug that can fire stands of silk to snare its prey.
- This deer's beautiful fur and magnificent horns aid it in charming the unwary.
Tense battles with each turn:
- Combat in Etrian Odyssey has a tense edge you won't find in other RPG.
- Use your full array of skills wisely to bring each battle to an end as quickly as possible. Take advantage of any enemy's weakness against slashing , piercing, or melee attacks.
- Beyond that, your team has a new last-ditch option. Force skills are powerful abilities that are unique to each class, which can only be used once the Force meter is full.
