Description

DVD-The Journey
Utilizing rare archive footage, news reels and unique interviews our program follows the formation and astonishing rise of the world's first "Supergroup". We chart the events which were to mark them as a music phenomenon and follows their careers through the untimely death of John Lennon and George Harrison. The individual members of the Beatles were unique in their talent and humor. Beatles-the Journey features various conversations and filmed events that follow the groups' relentless sweep through the musical boundaries of the world. They were just as lyrical in interview, the language barriers seemed to dissolve. Lennon's frank and sometimes cutting comments offer a compelling insight into fellow group members Paul, George, and Ringo. This coupled with their amusing and meaningful thoughts surrounding international events makes for a remarkable reminder of the genius and the group that was.

Audio CD-In Their Own Words
The Beatles talk about their remarkable success and their thoughts and beliefs. This audio CD provides a intriguing insight into a world where Beatlemania had captured the hearts and minds of young and old alike. John Lennon talks about the ups and downs of their relationship with the media and the differences within the group. This CD contains rare interview material and will be a treasured memory of a time never to be repeated.

32 Page Super Colour Booklet
This fabulous booklet serves as a 4 colour pictorial guide to the events that coloured the careers of the Fab Four. The specially commissioned narrative illustrates in detail the lives of these four 'pop' giants from their formative beginnings to the final chapter of the memorable musical merry-go-round.

Where purchased: Don't own it
This was a bizarre "documentary" which had choppy editing, no chronology, no actual Beatles music (all performed by a cover band, not even Beatles-written songs), and an odd choice of what to include, including a 5-minute interview with Mark David Chapman, Lennon's killer. I have seen a lot of Beatles footage, and there were a few things I hadn't seen before, but nothing extraordinary by any means (which is probably why other, better documentaries chose not to show it!). This is an obvious attempt to get money by slapping the name Beatles on something.
