Her name might be King but she is undeniably the queen of tennis – not only because she dominated the sport for more than two decades, but also because she planted a stake for women everywhere in a place other than the home. In the 1973 Wimbledon tournament, Billie Jean King defeated Chris Evert laying claim to her sixth Wimbledon singles title.
