Author: Ryan B (07/29/2008) This phone not only disables your soundcard until it is disconnected, you can't dial any skype numbers until you first save them in skype as a contact. Otherwise the phone insists on calling through the landline. I wouldn't have skype if I wanted to use a landline!! In any case, the range is good, but unless you have a computer that you only want to use for skype (which isn't running vista from what I've read on other reviews), I would recommend this phone. I will be returning it as soon as possible.
