Roberto, the son of the legendary Black Cowboy, returns to the ranch where he was born after spending 10 years studying in Mexico City. His arrival awakens the love of a childhood girlfriend and the rivalry of a jealous suitor, who considers Roberto no more than a harmless dandy. Roberto is manly in his own defense and the villain ends up kidnapping the girl to win her favor. Roberto accepts his destiny and, wearing his father's black costume, rescues the lady and puts the bad guys in their place, resurrecting the legend of the Black Cowboy, who everyone swears has come back from the dead to see that justice is done.
