Based on the comic strip by Al Capp, the residents of Dogpatch are all here, including Daisy Mae, Mammy & Pappy Yokum, Hairless Joe, and Earthquake McGoo! Eligible bachelor Li'l Abner joins the other single men in running away from all the marital-minded women in the town of Dog Patch. Abner is specifically trying to avoid Daisy Mae, who wants to ask him to the Sadie Hawkins dance.
