Description

This cover is pre-treated with a Class "A" fire-retardant

Use as a Back Pack Cover, cover an Alice Pack, cover a tree stand or blind, or build a ground blind! Jute thread attached to a 3x4 Nylon Netting. Includes a package of Black zip ties to help secure to a backpack or other items. Product based on a 100% Nylon netting with a 500 lb. Tensile strength. Our Jute thread is 1-Ply, 10 lb. Tensile strength, made from 100% Tossa Jute Fiber. We hand tie 4-5 strands of the Jute thread to every knot. That’s 40-50 lbs. of strength at every knot! When hanging vertical, the Jute thread hangs down another 11" allowing the unit to cover a larger surface area. Desert color shown.

Benefits of Jute Thread vs Burlap

All Burlap is manufactured over seas from either China, or Bangladesh India. Ghillie Suits’s material is also imported from over seas.

When a soldier receives his burlap, it comes on a 2” thick x 50-100 foot long roll. He then has to unroll the burlap color of his choice, cut a length he/she desires, (18”-22” long), then pull out the horizontal threads of each piece to get actual Jute thread in which he/she will attach to his uniform to produce a Ghillie Suit.

He/She then has to do the same for each color that is required for His/Her Ghillie Suit. This tedious project requires time to cut the burlap, and then shred the burlap resulting in a 50% loss of original product.

With Ghillie Suits’s Jute thread, our thread is cut into 18"-22" lengths, then those are dyed into eight different colors. These cut and dyed threads are then bundled together.

The end result is a Jute thread pre-cut and dyed ready to assemble to Military clothing, BDU's, or onto netting to be worn over clothing, or to conceal an object.
