• IntelliEye technology was developed by Microsoft from the ground up to improve the optical mousing experience, delivering the fastest and most accurate mouse performance. Today, all other optical mouse manufacturers use the same chip, provided by the same supplier. These mice can only capture up to 2,500 pictures per second, while Microsoft's IntelliEye optical sensor captures an unprecedented 6,000 pictures per second -- delivering the smoothest, most precise and fastest tracking speed to-date

• Both left- and right-handed users can comfortably experience the superior performance of Microsoft's new IntelliEye optical technology

• All five buttons, including the wheel button, can be easily reprogrammed to perform popular commands in your favorite applications with a single touch. For example: The same button can mean "Cut" in Word and "Insert Comment" in Excel. The side buttons are set by default for easy forward and back Internet navigation.

• Users can move through documents quickly without having to click on the scroll bar. Accelerated scrolling reacts to how quickly users roll the wheel, allowing for faster movement through Web pages and computer applications. This allows you to cover more area in less time, increasing scrolling speed on average 28% (on three or more pages)
