Part 16 of the 20 part series, ‘A Newsreel History of the Third Reich’, this program includes unique footage plundered by Russian Troops in 1945. Compiled as it is from German newsreels which were made under the influence of Goebbels' Ministry of Propaganda. Volume 16 deals with the fourth part of 1943, covering events on all the German fronts: Home Front - Hitler Youth training school; Eastern Front - fierce tank battle at Krivog Rog, Stuka blitz on Nevel; Atlantic Front - reconnaissance destroyers attacking Allied ships; Mediterranean Front - bombing bridges in the Volturno sector.
