Nintendogs has become a pop-culture phenomenon in Japan and will be available in the United States. Dogs have become hip fashion accessories, complete with their dedicated lines of jewelry and clothing. Nintendo's kennel club represents a virtual "who's who" of best-in-show contenders. The U.S. version of the smash-hit pet simulator Nintendogs for Nintendo DS will come in three different packages, each with six different breeds of puppies to begin with, including three breeds - golden retriever, Siberian husky and boxer - not available in the Japanese version.
