• SET UP Your QuickShelter Canopy can be easily set-up in 4 or 5 minutes or even less if you have two people, if you follow the basic sequence detailed below. If time allows, we would recommend that you read through these instructions in their entirety and do a practice set-up at home before taking the QuickShelter on a trip. Then you can be sure all components are present & functional, and proceed through the set-up sequence at a leisurely pace to learn the most efficient techniques.
• TAKE DOWN --- For the take down, simply reverse the set-up sequence.
• LONG TERM STORAGE --- Your QuickShelter is more likely to be damaged by mold, mildew or bacteria during storage than by elements while set up and in use. Make sure that all food or other organic material is removed and that your tent is thoroughly dry before packing into the stuff bag. If you have to pack up and leave the campsite while your tent is damp, set it up later at home and allow it to dry thoroughly for long-term storage. Clean fabric with a soft sponge and very mild detergent to prevent damaging material coatings.
________________________________________ To set up the QuickShelter Canopy:

Step 1. Unpack the QuickShelter and remove the pole frame assembly upside down, with the feet pointing up.

Step 2. Extend all four legs of the frame upward to the first detent button, so that the legs are at their shortest length.

Step 3. Turn over the frame set and expand all four legs out approximately half way, so that each leg is around 5 feet apart.

Step 4. Attach the top cover, so that the Paha Que' logo is facing out. There will be Velcro tabs on the inside of the four corners of the fabric that will attach to Velcro on the corners of the frame.

Step 5. With the top fabric in place, and each corner secured with Velcro, expand the legs the remaining distance until the corner hinges snap into place at the detent button.

Step 6. At this point, raise the Canopy along the height adjustment further until you reach desired height.

Step 7. Once the Canopy is erect, always stake out the corners to secure its position and avoid any problems with sudden wind gusts. Guy points are furnished in the upper corners for further strength during high sustained winds.

Step 8. Seam-sealing is recommended for complete waterproofing in heavy rainfalls.

NOTE: Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun! UV damage is considered normal wear and tear, and is not covered by your lifetime warranty!
