Zarb, Metal 10" x 17"

I've had mine for about half a year -- it's very durable and good-looking. Really a surprisingly good sound for this price range, and very sensitive & responsive. I was really happy to find a zarb with synthetic head. Half of the tuning heads are welded on a bit crooked but it doesn't affect their usability. Basically this is a budget model with a sound MUCH better than you would expect, very rich & full.

I agree, it's VERY responsive & it has a surprisingly organic sound for a synthetic head. It's an excellent value for the price and it is definitely sturdy, despite the cosmetic flaws around the tuning pegs (mentioned by the other reviewer, and on my drum as well). Also, it's not easy to find an affordable case that fits this drum -- but if you just find a way to protect its head well, the body is VERY durable and barely needs protection.
